Change to the Board of Directors

Marston's PLC announces that Alistair Darby, Chief Operating Officer, is leaving to take up the role of Chief Executive at Mitchells & Butlers plc. He steps down from the Board with immediate effect, and will leave the Company at the end of September.

Peter Dalzell, Managing Director of Marston's Inns and Taverns, and Stephen Oliver, Managing Director of Marston's Beer and Pub Company, will report directly to Ralph Findlay, Chief Executive Officer.

Commenting, David Thompson, Chairman, said:

"The Board would like to thank Alistair for his valuable contribution to the business during his 15 years with the Group. We wish him all the very best for the future."
