                 MMC TO HOLD INVESTOR CALL ON MAY 8 TO DISCUSS
                           FIRST QUARTER 2007 RESULTS


NEW YORK, April 24, 2007 -Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (MMC) plans to
announce first quarter results on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in a news release to be
issued before the market opens.  The release will also be available on MMC's

Michael G. Cherkasky, president and chief executive officer of MMC, and Matthew
B. Bartley,  chief financial officer, will lead a discussion with investors on
