Marks & Spencer Group PLC 06 December 2007 Issue of Debt Further to the announcement on 30 November, Marks and Spencer plc announces that its US$ notes listed below were issued on 6 December 2007 and have been admitted to listing on the Official List of the U.K. Listing Authority and to trading on the Gilt Edged and Fixed Interest Market of the London Stock Exchange, a regulated market: US$ 500,000,000 6.250% Notes due 2017 US$ 300,000,000 7.125% Notes due 2037 In the United States the notes were sold to qualified institutional buyers under rule 144A of the US Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the 'Securities Act'), and to non-US persons outside the United States in reliance on regulations of the Securities Act.
