On 14th January 2000 Sir Martin Jacomb acquired 21 shares in his General PEP
under the Dividend Reinvestment Plan at a price of 328.0p. The shares are
registered in the name of Swan Nominees.
Sir Martin's total holding now stands at 22,425 shares.
