Marks and Spencer Group plc announces leaving date of Ian Dyson

The following information is released in accordance with LR9.6.12

Further to the announcement of Ian Dyson's (Group Finance and Operations Director) resignation on 5 May, Marks & Spencer  announces that Ian will step down from the Board following the AGM on 14 July 2010 and leave the Company on 31 August 2010 to join Punch Taverns as Group Chief Executive.
