Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 29 October 2019 it purchased 382,117 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 147.9423 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2019.  The highest price paid per share was 149.05 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 147.5 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 5,157,736 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 152.10003 pence per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 16,088,317 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,525,706,453 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). (Note: This figure takes into account the transfer from treasury of 92,000 ordinary shares on 29 October 2019 in order to satisfy the exercise of options under the Company's Sharesave Scheme).

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
