Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 18 February 2020 it purchased 148,913 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 149.0813 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2019.  The highest price paid per share was 151.75 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 147.95 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 18,133,453 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 149.99173 pence per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 28,888,162 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,512,906,608 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). (Note: This figure takes into account the transfer from treasury of 4,000 ordinary shares on 18 February 2020 in order to satisfy the exercise of options under the Company's Sharesave Scheme).

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
