            Shareholders Approve Disposal of Agricultural Products
                                                                              
At the two Extraordinary General Meetings of E D & F Man Group plc held today,
all resolutions relating to the disposal of the Agricultural Products Business
were duly passed.

Completion of the disposal is expected to occur on 24 March 2000.
