Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for a Block Listing of 1,148,838 ordinary shares of 18 US cents each
of Man Group plc to be admitted to the Official List.  414,371 shares are to be
issued in respect of the Issuer's Man Group Executive Share Option Scheme 2001;
697,045 shares are to be issued in respect of the Issuer's Man Group Long Term
Incentive Plan and 37,422 shares are to be issued in respect of the Issuer's Man
Group plc United States Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the company.
