Maintel Holdings PLC 20 December 2005 Maintel Holdings Plc Appointment and resignation of directors The board of Maintel Holdings Plc ('the Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Taylor as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2006. Mr Taylor brings to the Company an extensive experience of working with growing companies, and of public company governance. A former management consultant, he joined Luther Pendragon Limited, a communications consultancy, in 1995, where he rose to become Managing Partner before leaving in 2000 to become Chief Executive of WPP subsidiary Metro Broadcast Limited. He is currently Executive Director, Professional Services at the Royal Institute of British Architects and is a non-executive director of EU affairs consultancy, G Plus Limited. The directorships held by Mr Taylor (aged 39) now and over the five years preceding the date of appointment are as follows: Current: G Plus Limited G Plus Europe Limited RIBA Holdings Limited RIBA Professional Services Limited Plaistow Village Trust Limited Previous: Luther Pendragon Limited Metro Broadcast Limited As at the date of this announcement, Mr Taylor has no beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of the Company. Nicholas assumes the role hitherto filled by Dr Bill Madden, who retires as a non-executive director with effect from today.
