2009 Trading Update

M Winkworth plc ("Winkworth"), the leading franchisor of real estate agencies, is providing the following trading update for the year ending 31 December 2009.

At the time of our admission to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange on 12 November 2009 the Directors reported that the market for residential sales and lettings was improving and that, being well positioned to benefit from any market upturn, the prospects for growth at Winkworth were encouraging.

In recent weeks we have seen further strength in transactions, especially in Central London, as a result of which Winkworth has continued to trade well. We plan to update the market with more information in the New Year, but remain very comfortable of the overall result for 2009. 

We look to 2010 with confidence and continue to seek opportunities for long term growth through organic expansion and acquisition.
