Director's Acquisition of Shares

M Winkworth plc ("Winkworth" or the "Company"), the leading franchisor of real estate agencies, was notified on 21st May 2010 that Dominic Agace, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, purchased 12,000 ordinary shares in Winkworth at a price of 82 pence per share on 21st May 2010.  These shares represent 0.1 per cent of the total voting rights in the Company.

Following this transaction, Dominic Agace is interested in a total of 512,000 ordinary shares in Winkworth, representing 4.5 per cent of the total voting rights and issued share capital of the Company.
