Result of AGM

LPA Group PLC 11 March 2004 11th March 2003 Result of Annual General Meeting and Chairman's Statement At the Annual General Meeting of LPA Group Plc, held today, all resolutions were passed. Michael Rusch, Chairman, commented; 'At this time last year we were emerging from an extremely difficult period. Today prospects are much healthier. We are beginning to move forward. Trading in the first four months has been mixed, largely due to a fluctuating factory load, but is, nonetheless, substantially better than in the same period last year. Although the first half performance will not match that of the second half of last year, prospects for the year as a whole continue to support expectations. Longer term, opportunities are better than for several years. Tendering activity is very high and the Group has been selected for the supply of equipment for a number of important projects which are due to commence during the rest of this year, and continue for some time into the future. We will be making appropriate announcements shortly in relation to contracts which are individually larger than the Group has taken since 2000. We are further pleased to announce that the Group is to become the UK distributor for two new ranges of electrical products which will complement, and strengthen, the group's product offering into the markets we already serve.'
