NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES


In accordance with the Disclosure Rules, Lookers plc (the Company) hereby
advises that:-


It was notified on 20 March 2008 that following a transaction on 19 March 2008,
Trefick Limited had acquired 8,164,491 ordinary shares in the Company
representing approximately 4.52% of the Company's Issued Share Capital. All
shares are voting shares, one vote one share.


On 25 March 2008 that Deutsche Bank AG and its subsidiary companies had by a
transaction dated 20 March 2008 reduced their holding in Lookers ordinary shares
below 3% of the Company's Issued Share Capital.
