Lookers PLC (The 'Company')
NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES
The Company was notified today by Jupiter Asset Management Limited. That
following a transaction of 24th July 2000, they have a non-beneficial interest
in 3,935,234 ordinary shares representing 11.79 per cent of the issued ordinary
share capital of the Company.
