Lookers plc - substantial shareholder

The Board of Lookers plc ('Lookers' or 'the Company') has been notified today
that the family interests of Mr Tony Bramall have acquired a further 525,000
Lookers ordinary shares of 5 pence each.  The acquisition over Tuesday 27
November 2007 (60,000 shares) and Wednesday 28 November 2007 (465,000 shares)
was at a price of 127.8 pence per share.

Mr Tony Bramall and his family interests are holders of 34,835,710 shares
representing 19.31% of the existing issued share capital of the Company. All
shares are voting shares.  One vote one share.
