The following notification is made in accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

As at 31 October 2009, London Stock Exchange Group plc had in issue 270,982,828 ordinary shares of 6 79/86 pence each with voting rights. 

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in London Stock Exchange Group plc is 270,982,828 ordinary shares.

The above figure (270,982,828) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, London Stock Exchange Group plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
