1.    The Exchange has set out the attached dealing periods and final expiry 
      days applicable to traditional options for 2001/2002.

2.    The Public and Bank Holidays affecting the Options Calendar for 2001 are
      as follows:
       
       2001       New Year       Monday 1 January  
                  Easter         Friday 13 April
                                 Monday 16 April
                  May            Monday 7 May
                  Spring         Monday 28 May
                  Summer         Monday 27 August
                  Christmas      Tuesday 25 December
                                 Wednesday 26 December 
       2002       New Year       Tuesday 1 January

                     
3.    It should be noted that some holidays in the Republic of Ireland,     
      Northern Ireland and Scotland fall on days other than those shown above.
