Tender Offer

London announces that the document giving details of the proposed tender offer
for the repurchase of up to 250 Ordinary Shares from each shareholder for 258p
in cash per Ordinary Share was posted to shareholders yesterday.

The document, together with the form of Repurchase Contract, may be inspected
at the Registered office of London, Wistons Lane, Elland, West Yorkshire, HX5
9DS until 27 June 2000, the date of the Extraordinary General Meeting.
