Purchase of Own Securities

London Securities PLC announces that it has today re-purchased, for
cancellation, 15,000 ordinary shares (representing 0.1 per cent of the issued
share capital) at a price of 600p per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the ordinary share capital of
London Securities will be 14,576,619 shares.
