Leo Capital Plc 06 February 2007 6 February 2007 Leo Capital plc Board and senior management appointments Leo Capital plc ('Leo Capital' or the 'Company'), the AIM-quoted investment company with stakes in public and private UK and US companies and funds, is pleased to announce that Robert Rayne has been confirmed as Chief Executive Officer, Martin Andrew Pexton has been appointed as a director and Tony Sweet has been confirmed as Chief Financial Officer. In addition Pieter Hooft and Edward Snow have joined the UK Investment team. Board Robert Rayne (age 58) has been confirmed as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He established Leo Capital's investment activities in the early 1980s and has an extensive track record in private equity in both the UK and US. Robbie was previously Chief Executive of London Merchant Securities plc before its merger with Derwent Valley Holdings plc. He is non-executive Chairman of the merged company, Derwent London plc. Martin Pexton (age 50) has been appointed Managing Director of the Company as of 1 February 2007 and will be responsible for its day-to-day management, including its investment activities. Martin was a director of London Merchant Securities plc as well as sixty-six of its subsidiary companies until 1 February 2007 and of Allen & Overy Pension Trustee Limited until 10 May 2002. He is currently a director of Energy Cranes International Limited and three of its subsidiaries, Offshore Tool & Energy Corporation and one of its subsidiaries, Citizen Limited and its subsidiary Vio Worldwide Limited, Cityspace Limited, Elateral Holdings Limited and Wesupply Limited (all of which are Leo Capital investments), Inflexion plc (in members' voluntary liquidation), London Human Resource Group and eight of Leo Capital's subsidiaries. There is no further disclosure required under paragraph (g) of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules. Martin holds 165,658 shares in the Company representing a shareholding of less than 0.1%. Tony Sweet (age 52) continues as Chief Financial Officer, having been appointed in April 2006. In addition to his finance responsibilities, he participates actively in new deal and investment activities, particularly supporting portfolio companies in formulating strategic plans and funding requirements. UK Investment Team The Company has made two key appointments to the UK Investment team. Pieter Hooft is responsible for the Company's UK investment activities. He has over 15 years' investment experience in the UK and Europe with individual equity investments ranging from £3 - 50 million in both established and emerging companies. Pieter's sector experience includes media, consumer, industrial, business services and technology/internet. He previously worked at Apax Partners and JPMorgan Partners. Edward Snow has been appointed to the UK Investment team. He has been involved with technology companies for most of his career and, since 2000, has built a track record of successfully investing in emerging companies across a range of sectors. Edward previously worked at Amadeus Capital Partners and at Deutsche Bank.
