            Result of Extraordinary General meeting of Shareholders


Empire Online Limited is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General
Meeting held earlier today shareholders approved the resolution in relation to
the sale of the entire issued share capital of Winner Summit Limited and the
adoption of a new investing strategy as described in the circular previously
sent to shareholders.


200,933,060 votes were cast in favour of the resolution (99.997 per cent of the
votes cast), with 6,800 against.
