Empire Online Limited ('Empire Online' or 'the Company')

Empire Online was informed yesterday that Lord Steinberg, Chairman of the
Company, has purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 70p per share.
Following the acquisition, Lord Steinberg is interested in 100,000 Ordinary
Shares in Empire Online, representing approximately 0.04 per cent. of the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.
