Liontrust Asset Management PLC ('the Company') was informed on 19 December 2008 of the following transactions in the Company's ordinary shares of 1p ('Shares'):

On 19 December 2008, Jeremy Lang and William Pattisson, directors of the Company, were allocated Shares as a result of the investment of dividend income through their participation in the Liontrust Share Incentive Plan at a price of 109p per Share.

The number of Shares allocated to such directors (and which are held on their behalf by Liontrust Trustee Limited) were as follows:
