In accordance with the provisions of Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985,
Legal & General Group Plc ('the Group') has been advised today that Morley
Fund Management Limited (a subsidiary of CGNU plc) has a notifiable interest
in 157,354,801 (3.06%) ordinary shares of 2.5p of the Group.
