As a result of PEP and ISA reinvestment, the following ordinary shares of 2.5p
each in Legal & General Group Plc ('Group') were purchased on 12 October 2001
at a price of 156p per share on behalf of the following executive directors of
Group and their spouses:-
G. J. Hoskin 90
R. A. Phipps 119
D. Rough 42
