Legal & General Group Plc Dividend Reinvestment Plan ('the Plan')
In accordance with the terms of the Plan, Lloyds TSB Registrars acquired
ordinary shares of 2.5p each in Legal & General Group Plc ('Group') on 1
October 2001 at a price of 141.5256p on behalf of the following Group
directors:

Ms C R R Avery 1,311
