In common with all eligible staff, 400 ordinary shares of 2.5p each,
originally allocated on 21 April 1998 at 183p per share, were released from
the Legal & General Group Staff Profit Sharing Scheme on 21 April 2001 to the
following executive directors of Legal & General Group Plc:-
C. R. R. Avery
G. J. Hoskin
A. W. Palmer
R. A. Phipps
D. J. Prosser
D. Rough
