Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility - SAYE Exercises

On 1 June 2012, Legal & General Group Plc (the "Company") received notification that options over the Company's ordinary shares of 2.5p each had vested and been exercised under the terms of the Legal & General 1999 Savings-Related Share Option Scheme ("SAYE") in respect of the PDMR's named below. Geoffrey Timms subsequently sold ordinary shares as indicated:

The Company was also notified on 6 June 2012 that 10,280 SAYE options vested and were exercised at an exercise price of 35.6p per share on 1 June 2012 by David Brown, a person connected to Andrea Blance.
