Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan


In common with all eligible employees, on 23 April 2007 each of the Executive
Directors of Legal & General Group Plc was awarded 250 free shares under the
Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan at a price of 156.8147p per share.

Following this exercise, the Executive Directors beneficial interests were as
