Savings Related Share Option Scheme ('the Scheme')



In common with all eligible employees, each of the executive directors of Legal
& General Group Plc ('the Company') have been invited to participate in the
Scheme. None of the executive directors chose to take part in the Scheme.



On 10 April 2007, C. A. Davies, Group Secretary, chose to take part in the
Scheme and was granted options over 4,340 ordinary 2.5p shares at a price of
119p per share.
