Leeds Group Acquires Calprina

Leeds Group plc has acquired Calprina, the textile printing business of
Crowson Fabrics.  This move has enabled the company to secure 'preferred
supplier' status with Crowson, further indicating Leeds Group's intention to
strengthen its position as a leading edge supplier to the quality segment of
the home furnishings market.

Crowson Fabrics purchased Calprina in 1997 as a means of securing the supply
of printing services critical to its success in the market place.  This new
partnership with Leeds Group combines the strengths of both businesses and
ensures the continuation of supply from a highly specialised printing group,
allowing Crowson Fabrics to focus on its core business.

Chris Marsden, Chief Executive of Leeds Group, said: 'We are extremely pleased
