Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Learning Technologies Group plc, the provider of services and technologies for digital learning and talent management, announces the appointment of Simon Boddie as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 October 2020.

 

Simon has been on the Boards of FTSE 250 businesses for fifteen years.  He is currently Chief Financial Officer at Coats Group plc ("Coats"), the world's leading industrial thread manufacturer and FTSE 250 member, a position he has held since 2016.  During that time Coats has successfully concluded six acquisitions and transitioned to a focused B2B manufacturing business.  Previous roles include ten years as Group Finance Director of Electrocomponents plc, a FTSE 250 global multi-channel provider of industrial and electronic products and solutions, and thirteen years in senior finance roles at Diageo plc, the FTSE 100 global leader in beverage alcohol.

 

In addition to his role at LTG and Coats, Simon serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for PageGroup plc, a FTSE 250 listed international professional recruitment company.
