Land Securities Group PLC - Transactions in Own Shares


Land Securities Group PLC (the 'Company') announces that on 25 July 2007 it
purchased  500,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 1720.3358 pence per
share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above
purchase, Land Securities Group PLC holds 2,525,000 ordinary shares in treasury,
and has 467,919,027 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
