LAND SECURITIES HOSTS INVESTOR CONFERENCE


Land Securities Group PLC ('Land Securities' / 'Company') announces that it is
today holding an Investor Conference at the Sofitel Hotel, St James, London SW1,
which will provide information about Land Securities' investment portfolio,
development programme and total property outsourcing activities.  No material
new information will be provided during the event.


The presentation slides and speakers' notes will be available on the company's
website (www.landsecurities.com) later today.  The question and answer session
will also be available via audio webcast or written transcript in the week
commencing 25 November 2002.


The conference will be hosted by Ian Henderson, Land Securities' Chief
Executive, and members of the Company's senior management team.  The
