Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 450,261 ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.

It is expected admission will be granted on 12 March 2007 and trading will
commence on 13 March 2007.

These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
the Land Securities Savings Related Share Option Scheme (144,012 shares) and the
Land Securities Executive Share Option Scheme (306,249 shares).

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
