Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 281,592 ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.

It is expected admission will be granted on 20 April 2006 and trading will
commence on 21 April 2006.

These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
the Land Securities Savings Related Share Option Scheme (1,759 shares) and the
Land Securities Executive Share Option Scheme (279,833 shares).

These shares now rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
