Indian subsidiary unaudited financial results (under Indian GAAP)

KSK Power Ventur plc (AIM: KSK.L) ('KSKPV'), the power project company listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, with interests in multiple power plants across India, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, KSK Energy Ventures Limited ('KSKEV'), the equity shares in which are listed and traded on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited ('NSE') and the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited ('BSE'), has filed with the NSE and BSE today 27th July 2009 its unaudited quarterly results for the period ending 30th June 2009. KSKPV holds 55.24 per cent of the shares of KSKEV.

The KSKEV results are in line with expectations, with total income INR 1128.64 m (2008: INR 677.77 m) and  Consolidated net profit of INR 479.04 m (2008: INR 387.88 m).
