Re: Leanort/Xtratherm - Competition Authority Decision

Kingspan notes the decision of the Competition Authority, made yesterday, in
which the Authority declined to give clearance to the proposed acquisition of
Leanort Ltd (trading as 'Xtratherm') by Kingspan.


Kingspan is disappointed by the Authority's decision, and believes that it is
not supported by the weight of evidence produced by Kingspan and Xtratherm in
their arguments and submissions to the Authority.  Kingspan in consultation with
the vendors will study the written determination of the Authority and take
advice from its lawyers, before deciding whether or not to appeal the decision
to the High Court.
