Kingfisher plc - Voting Rights and Capital

As a result of the recent transfer of 43,267 ordinary shares from the Kingfisher
1993 Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust, to satisfy the exercise of share
options, the issued share capital of Kingfisher plc at 31 January 2008 is
2,360,807,678 ordinary shares and includes 17,181,510 ordinary shares held by
Kingfisher plc under the Kingfisher 1993 Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust.


The total number of shares with voting rights is 2,343,626,168.


The above figure (2,343,626,168) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Kingfisher plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
