On 27 December 2006, 21,858 ordinary shares from the Kingfisher 1993 Employee
Share Ownership Plan Trust were used to satisfy the exercise of options.


Therefore, as of today (27 December 2006), the total of shares with voting
rights is 2,337,855,293.


The above figure (2,337,855,293) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Kingfisher plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
