Appointment of new directors

Further to the senior management appointments announced on 15th and 28th
September, the Board of Kingfisher plc confirmed the following changes at its
meeting on 6th October:
Helen Weir is appointed as Finance Director, replacing Philip Rowley who will
remain an executive director until the announced demerger is effected.
Philippe Frances retires from the Board and is replaced as an executive
director by Jean-Noel Labroue, Chief Executive of Kingfisher Electricals.
The appointment of Bill Whiting, Managing Director of B&Q, as an executive
director was also approved, effective from the date that Roger Holmes ceases
to be a member of the Board.
