Kier Group PLC 31 May 2007 31 May 2007 KIER GROUP PLC DIRECTORATE CHANGE The Board of Kier Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Geoghegan as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 July 2007. Mr Geoghegan, aged 53, was appointed to the Board of BAE Systems plc in July 2002 as Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for all European Joint Ventures and UK Defence Electronics assets. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and President of the Society of British Aerospace Companies. Peter Warry, Chairman, said: "I am very much looking forward to welcoming Chris to the Board.A His considerable knowledge of major international business will add a valuable dimension to board debate."
