In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Kier Group plc announces that its non-executive director, Mr Christopher Vincent Geoghegan, has been appointed non-executive chairman of e2v technologies plc with effect from 1 October 2009. 

There are no other changes required to be disclosed pursuant to the Listing Rules.
