Today, 20 August 2010, Kier Group plc were informed that on 10 August 2010 Mr H E E Raven (PDMR) acquired 12 shares via the Kier Group All Employee Share Ownership Plan. Additionally he was allotted a further six shares as free matching shares.

Mr Raven's total interest in the shares of Kier Group plc is therefore 18 shares, representing less than 0.001% of the issued capital.

The total number of ordinary shares of 1p in issue as at the date of this notice, and therefore the total number of voting shares, is 37,477,666 shares. There are no shares held in Treasury.
