Today, 16 June 2010, Kier Group plc were informed that on 10 June 2010 the Trustee of the Kier Group All Employee Share Ownership Plan acquired ordinary shares for the following directors and persons discharging managerial responsibility:

Mr I M Lawson:	13 shares	7 shares
Miss D E Mattar:	13 shares	7 shares
Mr P J Staniland: (PDMR)	13 shares	7 shares

Following these transactions their holdings were:

Mr I M Lawson:	19,854 shares	(0.053% of issued share capital)
Miss D E Mattar:	385,368 shares	(1.028% of issued share capital)
Mr P J Staniland: (PDMR)	58,611 shares	(0.156% of issued share capital)

The total number of ordinary shares of 1p in issue as at the date of this notice, and therefore the total number of voting shares, is 37,477,240 shares. There are no shares held in Treasury.
