RAP Group plc (the 'Company')

The Board of RAP Group plc announces that it has today exchanged contracts for
the conditional sale of a portion of its property at 50 Union Street,
Hamilton, Scotland for the sum of £471,500.  The sale is conditional on the
granting of planning permission to develop the site being granted within the
next six months.

The Company also announces that it will sell the remaining part of the
property at 50 Union Street, Hamilton for the sum of £3,500, with immediate
effect.

The site at 50 Union Street was held at a total value of £150,000 in the
Company's accounts for the year ended 31st December 1999.

The proceeds of the sale will be used to reduce Company indebtedness.
