K3 Business Technology Group plc announces that it was today informed that Mr
David Bolton, Finance Director, purchased 150,000 shares in the Company at a
price of 17 pence per share on 21 April 2004.  Mr Bolton is now interested in
3,061,500 shares in the Company, representing approximately 6 per cent. of the
issued share capital.

At the same time the Company was also informed that Mr Russell Dorset, Director,
purchased 55,000 shares in the Company at a price of 17 pence per share on the
same date.  Mr Dorset is now interested in 65,930 shares in the Company,
representing approximately 0.1 per cent. of the issued share capital.
