K3 Business Technology Group plc (the 'Company') announces that it was informed
on Friday 16th April that Mr David J Bolton, Finance Director, purchased 100,000
ordinary shares of 5p each ('Shares') in the Company at a price of 18.5 pence on
16 April 2004.



Following the above purchase, Mr Bolton is now interested in 911,500 Shares,
representing approximately 1.79 per cent. in the Company.
