K3 Business Technology Group plc announces that it was informed on Friday, 7
December that Mr D. J. Bolton, Director, and Mr N. A. Makeham, Director, each
purchased 11,500 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 12.75p per share
on 7 December 2001.


As a result Mr Bolton is now interested in 811,500 ordinary shares in the
Company, representing approximately 1.6 per cent. of the issued share capital
and Mr Makeham is interested in 943,916 ordinary shares in the Company,
representing approximately 1.9 per cent. of the issued share capital.
